Little Johnny at School

It is near the end of the last day of the school year. Grades are in and there is really nothing for the students to do. The kids are getting very restless. So, the teacher says, "I am going to ask some questions. Whoever answers first and correctly can leave early today. "little Johnny says to himself, "Good, I'm the smartest in class and I'll be out of here first. The teacher asks, "Who said 'Four Score and Seven Years Ago'?" Before Johnny can open his mouth, Susie says, "Abraham Lincoln". The teacher says, "That's right, Susie. You can go". Johnny can't believe it; beat by a girl! The teacher asks, "Who said, 'I Have a Dream'?" Again, before Johnny can open his mouth, Mary says, "Martin Luther King". The teacher says, "That's right, Mary. You can go". Johnny is getting angry. These girls aren't as smart as him! The teacher asks, "Who said 'Ask not, what your country can do for you'?" The words are on Johnny's lips when Nancy says, "John Kennedy". The teacher says, "That's! |
