Arnold likely to return for relative's funeral |

Increase of rubber production in 2006 |
Apr 9 (GDI) Sri Lankan exports of rubber and rubber products got a further boost when the rubber production has increased last year. The Department of Rubber Development has the production has recorded 109 million kg in 2006 while it was reported as 104 million in 2005. Rubber exports were recorded as 46 million kg in 2006 and in 2005 it was 31.6 million kg. While rubber exports increased in 2006 local consumption has declined in 2006.
