Tissainayagam goes into his 100th day in detention by the Terrorism Investigations Department (TID) today without formal charges being filed against him. Hotels in a flap over summit arrangement |

Water supply crisis as Hanwella road cracks up |
June 15 (ST) Heavy rains and earthslips yesterday cut off parts of the Colombo-Avisawella road at Hanwella, disrupted traffic and damaged pipelines supplying water to Colombo and several other areas, officials said.
