Ministry of Health suffers from indecision |
Apr 28 (LT) Despite the government of Sri Lanka bragging that BTI bacteria would be used to eradicate dengue from Sri Lanka, the Ministry of Health has not taken any measures to get the bacteria from Cuba say reports. There were plans to import BTI, bacteria that act against mosquitoes, from Cuba in January. As there were reports that the bacteria has not been imported to Sri Lanka yet ‘Lankatruth’ inquired from the Ministry of Health regarding the scheme.

Reconstruction work on the Mihintala stupa begins |
