Longer Hours: Two more schools agree

Three Lankan boats, 15 fishermen apprehended
Apr 27 (DC) The Coast Guard team captured three Sri Lankan boats with 15 fishermen for engaging in illegal fishing in Indian waters on Tuesday. The Indian Coast Guard ship, Sarang, an advanced off shore patrol vessel, detected Sri Lankan boats treading close to the Indian coast. Two tonnes of fish were found on the boats. The boats namely Sandilma, Nadika and Indunil-5 had sailed from Dondra in Sri Lanka and were apprehended 125 miles North-Northeast of Chennai.

Apr 28 (NN) Studies in Sri Lanka have attributed Rs 22-17 billion to health damage costs owing to auto diesel emissions in Colombo.
