Cabinet waives Rs.212 million VAT from the Central Cultural Fund

June 21 (FT) In an effort to boost development at Sri Lanka’s key archaeological sites the Cabinet has decided to waive Rs.212 million of Value Added Tax (VAT) that was owed from the Central Cultural Fund. CEA to collect 5000 MT of e-waste

June 21 (Island) The Central Environment Authority expects to collect 5,000 metric tons of e-waste by the end of this year. Opposition MPs seek more funds
