JVP threatens estate agitation over flour hike |

'Foreign reserves level could stop IMF loan' |
Apr 29 (LB) Sri Lanka’s net foreign reserves have declined to a woeful US$4 billion, and the IMF will not grant the next loan tranche unless Sri Lanka builds up foreign reserves, economists warn. As a result, the Central Bank plans to issue more bonds and obtain loans to shore up foreign reserves, sources said.
