Three killed in Kalmunai bus crash |
Apr 13 (CG) Three people were killed and 18 others have been injured following an accident involving two buses in Kalmunai this morning. SSP Ajith Rohana said that a bus operating between Akaraipattu and Vavuniya had crashed into another bus operating between Colombo and Akaraipattu. Among those killed are two women. The police spokesman said that the driver of the bus operating between Akaraipattu and Vavuniya was drunk at the time of the accident.

Police net nearly 600 drunk drivers |
