15,000 new cancer patients every year according to research |
May 16 (DN) According to a research done by the Cancer Hospital in Maharagama, there are about 15000 cancer patients every year. The Deputy Director of the hospital Wasantha Dissanayake was quoted in the press as saying that at least 600 patients take treatments from the Out-patient-department every day.
