Report called over ragging at Nilwala National College |
Sept 22 (NR) Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam has called for a report pertaining to a ragging incident reported at the Nilwala National College of Education. He has notified the Commissioner of the College KMH Bandara to look into the matter and submit a report. The Education Minister said ragging incidents should be avoided in order to protect the right of all students to a free education. Minister added the lack of discipline in students studying to become teachers is a serious concern.
