Review of the current constitutional & economic crisis
Nov 3 (CT) Recent change of govt has created a turmoil in the country. I am of the opinion that the President would have prorogued the Parliament and during the prorogation period sought the opinion of Supreme Court about the constitutionality of removing the PM, appointing a new PM and a new Cabinet of Ministers as provided in Article 129 of the Constitution. Meanwhile the following text may explain the constitutionality of the issue in my point of view.

Nov 3 (DM) If UNP MP Palitha Range Bandara was offered money by the govt to cross over, he should lodge a compliant to the police without delay, UPFA MP Mahindananda Aluthgamage said. 'Cricketers volunteer to declare assets annually'
Nov 3 (CT) Should bring laws which will make it compulsory for administrators to declare their assets too. SLFP CC with the Prez in the chair met on Wednesday for the first time after the swearing-in of the new PM. President asked the members to cooperate with him to form a stable govt. UN urges Sri Lanka to recall parliament amid bribery claims
