43 more Covid-19 deaths and 572 new cases

Oct 4 (AD) Director General of Health Services has confirmed another 43 coronavirus related deaths for Oct 3, increasing the death toll due to the virus in the country to 13,102. Bodies of young couple found hanging at house in Meerigama

Oct 4 (DM) The bodies of a man and a woman were found hanging in a room of a house at Lindara in Mirigama this afternoon, Police said.
