Over 340 online banking scams reported in 2024
Oct 10 (TM) SL Computer Emergency Response Team (SL CERT) has reported a significant rise in complaints related to online financial fraud in 2024. Over 340 complaints involving financial scams have been received so far this year. “Up to September, we’ve received 7,210 complaints regarding online scams, with the majority of these linked to social media platforms. Italian Naval ship Ppa Montecuccoli arrives in Colombo
Oct 10 (SLN) PPA MONTECUCCOLI of the Italian Navy arrived at the port of Colombo on a formal visit this morning. The visiting ship was welcomed by the SL Navy in compliance with naval traditions. Passenger bus gutted in fire at Madampe
