Aug 26 (InfoLanka) A special meeting will take place on Wednesday evening at the Presidential House regarding the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on forming a broad national alliance between the SLFP and the JVP.
It is learnt that at this meeting the MoU signed between the government and the LTTE and the role of the Norwegian government in this connection would be discussed. The meeting on August 27 would be held under the leadership of President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga and SLFP General Secretary, Maithripala Sirisena while Tilvin Silva, Wimal Weerawansa and Anura Kumar Dissanayake would represent the JVP.
