Aug 27 (InfoLanka) With the view to enhance transparency and accountability and to promote good governance, the Ministry of Finance has taken steps to place in the website the Annual Performance Reports of the Ministries, Department and Public Enterprises for the Year 2002.
The Performance reports that have been received so far are already on the National Budget Department web site www.ndb.gov.lk and the balance Performance Reports will be displayed as and when they are received.
In order to access these Performance Reports, visitors to the website can navigate through the "Budget Monitoring" option, to the "Reports" option, and from there to the "Performance" option in the Home Page. Using the Acrobat Reader Version 4 or higher versions, these Performance Reports could be viewed or printed or downloaded. The Acrobat Reader is also available in the Home Page for downloading from the National Budget Department website.
The Annual Reports and Accounts of the public enterprises are being placed in the website www.ped.gov.lk of the Department of Public Enterprises. In order to access these reports visitors to the website can navigate through the "Annual Reports" option in the Home Page.
