500 g chicken wings 1/3 cup corn flour 1/4 cup soy sauce 1 table spoon sugar 1 tea spoon sesame oil 8 shallots cooking oil for deep-frying
Wash and dry chicken wings. Cut off wing tips at joint. Cut the rest of the wings at joint to give two pieces from each. In a large bowl, combine corn flour, soy sauce, sugar and sesame oil. Mix well until sugar is dissolved. Add chopped shallots and wings; keep for 1/2 hours. Fry half the wings in deep hot oil until brown. Reduce heat, cook approximately three minutes, or until cooked through. Remove from oil, drain on paper towel. Repeat with remaining wings. Serve hot.
