For caramel 60g butter, at room temperature 80g sugar 1 egg 1/2 tsp vanilla
Preheat the oven to 190C. Peel apples and cut into thin slices. Mix the egg, flour, sugar, oil, milk, baking powder and oil together and put into a baking tray. Arrange the apple slices on top of the mix and put in the oven. Bake till the apples are half way cooked. Beat the ingredients for the caramel and pour over the apples. Put the cake back in the oven and bake till the top is caramelized. This cake very tasty and very easy to make.
