Garlic / Ginger Paste for curries
1/2 cup oil (any vegetable oil) 1/4 cup vinegar (optional) Clean the garlic and place the pods in a blender, pour the vege oil and the vinegar and blend into a smooth paste. Put in a dry clean bottle/jar cover tightly and place in the fridge. When making the ginger paste clean the fresh ginger and cut into small cubes and place in the Blender with the other two ingredients and bottle separately. These pastes could be used when making Meat and other curries. If you dont put in the oil, the pastes could become discoloured and will not be able to keep for a long time.
