Fiscal officers prevented from sealing building occupied by EPDP |
Mar 26 (LD) Fiscal officers were prevented from carrying out a court directive to seal a building at Park Road in Colombo, which the EPDP uses as its head office, sources said. Sampath Bank had obtained the order from the Colombo District Court to seize the building after its owner had failed to save the property that had been mortgaged. The EPDP had been occupying the premises on lease basis without the knowledge of this situation, sources said.

Drugs go a waste at A’pura hospital |

Overbooked hotels force change in India's tour itinerary |
