Nov 18 (Hindu) There has been an increase in the influx of Sri Lankan Tamil refugees to the State. In the last one week alone, more than 100 refugees reached Rameswaram and reported at police stations on the island, apparently due to the intense battle in Sri Lanka. Nov 18 (LBO) Central bank said it had made the Tamil Rehabilitation Organization (TRO), an organisation linked to the Tamil Tigers, to forfeit its funds to the state under laws against terrorist financing.
