Dengue fever kills 240 people in Sri Lanka |
Aug 20 (Xinhua) The number of dengue cases has risen to 23,652 while 240 people have died of the disease in Sri Lanka so far, the Epidemiological Unit of the Health Ministry said on Wednesday. The Epidemiological Unit said in its latest statistics that of the 23,652 cases, the highest number of patients was reported from June totaling 7,050. It is followed by July with 6,841 cases being reported.
