Sri Lanka: Shadow over India |
Mar 12 (AT) The spate of angry protests in Tamil Nadu after the military victory in Sri Lanka must have been a cause for worry for the governments in Chennai and New Delhi. It is an indication that India, especially Tamil Nadu, cannot remain unaffected by the fresh crisis that has erupted in the island nation after the country’s army ran over most of the areas held by the rebel LTTE. Tamil Nadu has already reacted with fury that was aimed as much against the government in Colombo as the UPA government in New Delhi.
