Special census in Western Province from 21 - 22 |

12-foot python caught in Sri Lanka village |
Mar 21 (PTI) A 12-foot python has been caught by residents at a south Sri Lankan village, the second time in recent weeks the species was found in a human habitat in the fauna-rich island nation. The black-spotted python was coiled when it was detected by horrified villagers in Pilawala in Kandy district, about 115 kms north-east of capital Colombo. The snake was caught by residents and handed over to the Wildlife Department, media reports said.

Majority of CGR engines outdated |

Central bank in bid to push credit |
