CTB lost Rs.100 million by giving buses to UPFA campaigns |
Oct 9 (LT) About Rs.100 million has been lost to the CTB due to illicit use of CTB buses for the UPFA campaign at provincial council elections held so far. During the last three days of the Southern PC elections alone 700 buses were used by the UPFA for its campaign and the reported approximate cost of fuel for the three days is Rs.2.5 million. Also the minimum daily loss to CTB by using these buses for the campaign is estimated at Rs.7,020,000.00.
