1,250 LP gas cylinders among stolen goods seized by police

Jan 9 (Island) Police raided an abandoned house at Elukatiya in Ahangama and seized 1,250 LP gas cylinders worth Rs. 3.5 lakhs, 50 water pumps, two welding plants and six motor cycles last week. Police believe that these items had been stolen by a gang operating in the area and concealed in this house for disposal.
