Apr 13 (DM) A total of 322 drivers had been arrested by police across the country during the 48 hours between 6 am on Saturday and 6 am today, for driving under the influence of liquor. Police media unit said that of those arrested for driving while intoxicated, 125 were three-wheeler drivers while 150 were motorcycle uses. Police arrest suspects involved in JVP /FSP clash
Apr 14 (ST) The police arrested 19 suspects alleged to have been involved in a clash between the supporters of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) and the Frontline Socialist Party (FSP) at Gannoruwa in Peradeniya.
