Financial institutions ordered to reveal Palpita’s account details |
Oct 22 (DN) The Colombo Chief Magistrate yesterday ordered the managers of 81 financial institutions to reveal to the CID, the details of accounts maintained by former Director General of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission, Anusha Pelpita, his wife and son. The CID had informed court that the FCID has received information that Pelpita had allegedly bought a land in Nugegoda for Rs. 16 million in addition to building a palatial residence in Colombo 7.
