J’pura university denies killing dogs

Apr 19 (Island) Vice Chancellor of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura Prof. Sampath Amaratunga said yesterday that stray dogs had become a nuisance. Prof. Amaratunga said there were more than 130 stray dogs living inside the university premises and they were a threat to students, academic and non academic staff members. Foreign reserves fall to 7-year low in March
