May 16 (Island) Former Chairman of the Timber Corporation, Anuruddha Polgampola, was arrested yesterday by the CID for not appearing in court over an alleged financial offence, involving Rs. 8 million he had obtained to supply gravel for the reconstruction of the Northern railroad. Sri Lanka Cricket makes Rs2.1bn profit in 2017, pays down debt
