National inflation slows in Sept to 0.9%
Oct 22 (EN) SL's nationwide inflation slowed to 0.9% in the 12-months to Sept 2018 from 2.5% a month earlier, the lowest since Jan 2016. Govt explains stance on Hyatt & Hilton hotels
Oct 22 (NR) Ministry of Finance says it intends to utilise the funds received through privatising Hilton and Hyatt hotels for the common welfare of society. Issuing a statement the Finance Ministry said the decision to divest the two hotels was reached during a Cabinet of Ministers meeting and was also proposed in several budget speeches.
