Apr 19 (Island) Two female de-miners who received serious injuries during a demining operation due to an accidental explosion, in Muhamalai, Kilinochchi were admitted to the Jaffna Teaching Hospital. They are being treated at the intensive care unit of the hospital. The women are residents of the north and attached to an international organisation engaged in humanitarian work in the area.
