Oct 25 (AD) Fifty-two members of the Inter-University Students’ Federation, who were arrested last evening (24) during the protest carried out at the Lotus Road, have been released on bail. Deepavali festival: All Tamil medium schools granted holiday on Monday

Tea smallholder factories loss narrows

Oct 25 (EN) Tea Smallholder Factories, which makes black tea from leaves bought from SL small farmers, said losses narrowed to 20.4 million rupees in the Sept 2019 quarter from 31.8 million rupees a year ago.
