One killed, 24 wounded in police shooting at Rambukkana
Apr 20 (Island) Having failed to disperse those who had been blocking the railway line at Rambukkana for over 15 hours in protest against the latest increase in the price of diesel and petrol, the police yesterday evening opened fire on protesters. ‘Repatriating dividend payments, an issue for CSE’s foreign investors’

Sri Lanka asks for quick RFI from IMF, India backing for bigger EFF

Disaster warnings for much of SL after two lives were lost last weekend to freak weather

Decision to lift mandatory mask wearing, to be reviewed
