Sri Lanka to allow English as court language in selected courts
Feb 20 (EN) SL will allow court proceedings to be conducted in English in selected courts, to expedite court proceedings, the cabinet spokesman has said. Govt hints out at further restrictions on vehicle imports

Fishermen protest against Cardinal

DMT’s delayed e-motoring project now hits legal snag

Cabinet nod to slash embarkation tax on ferry services between Sri Lanka and India
Feb 20 (AD) A proposal to reduce the embarkation tax currently charged from passengers leaving Sri Lanka by passenger vessels and passenger ships has been approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
