Boat with 12 Lankans capsizes in Greece |
Aug 4 (SAMN) A woman drowned after a speedboat carrying her and another 12 illegal immigrants from Sri Lanka capsized near the Aegean island of Samos, in Greece on Thursday. According to Greece state television NET the Samos coast guard immediately conducted a search-and rescue operation with the help of helicopters and vessels and the 10 other men and two children travelling on the speedboat were discovered two hours later.
