Weakness in the education system

Mar 21 (ANN) The National Education Commission (NEC) has made a startling revelation. Eighteen per cent of six graders cannot write at all. In a survey to assess the language and mathematical skills of school children, conducted with 4,054 students from seventy schools representing all provinces except the North and the East, the NEC has found twenty eight per cent of ten graders cannot write legibly and only 35 per cent of them can take down a passage dictated to them. more..
