'Sri Lanka's forest cover has dropped to 14%'

June 15 (DM) Forests cover in Lanka started to decline with the introduction of typical commercial crops and clearing of forests for agricultural and residential purposes further contributed in reducing the natural forest cover, said Touchwood Investments Consultant Dammika G.
