Karuna’s backup vehicle meets with accident

Sept 1 (DM) Two STF personnel who were providing security to Deputy Minister Vinayagamoorthy Muralidharan (Karuna) were injured when their jeep met with an accident early last morning near the Arch Culvert, Welikanda. Questionable cement not certified yet

Sept 1 (DM) The Sri Lanka Standards Institution (SLSI) said yesterday the alleged stock of low quality cement imported recently has still not received quality certification though the ban imposed on the Lucky Cement Company had been lifted. Over 185 pharmacies prosecuted
