Govt. to introduce laws against match fixing

Oct 24 (DM) The govt will introduce anti-corruption laws to prevent match fixing in cricket, Sports Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage said. A committee had been appointed for the purpose. Parliament approves regulations to control whale watching expeditions

Oct 24 (Island) Parliament yesterday approved regulations under the Fauna and Flora Protection Ordinance to impose strict guidelines for those engaged in operating whale and dolphin watching expeditions in the country.
