House may request probe on MPs breaching criminal law

Estimations underway for damaged houses from disaster

July 12 (NR) Minister of Disaster Management Anura Priyadarshana Yapa says estimation activities are currently underway over the reconstruction of fully damaged houses from the disaster situation. July 12 (NR) The Cabinet has decided to ban the importation, production and sale of lunch sheets. Accordingly, the Cabinet last evening approved banning the importation, production and sale of food packaging boxes made out of Polystyrene and plastic plates, cups and cutlery. Sri Lanka to get US$1.3bn in World Bank aid
