274 arrested for illegal dumping garbage |
July 29 (NR) Police Headquarters says 274 persons have been arrested for illegally dumping garbage in several areas following raids carried out in the Western Province. The arrests were made from the 25th to the 27th of July. Accordingly, the highest number of unauthorized garbage dumping amounting to 65 persons was reported from Colombo North.
