Sri Lanka improves ranking in Press Freedom Index 2018
Apr 27 (DM) SL was ranked 131st in the World Press Freedom Index-2018, going up 10 notches from last year, the index compiled by Reporters Without Borders or Reporters Sans Frontières (RSF) said. SL was in 131st place in terms of press freedom this year with a score of 41.37, this was out of a total of 180 countries. In 2017, SL was ranked 141 with a score of 44. 34.
