Halt executions, Mr. President: Amnesty

HAC assures no pig fat in milk powder imports

Indian fruit imports temporarily halted
Feb 23 (CT) The National Plant Quarantine Service (NPQS) has decided to temporarily halt the import of fruits from India to the country due to the inability to fulfill quarantine conditions sought by Sri Lanka. As a result, grapes and pomegranates imported from India will be temporarily halted. Additional Director of the NPQS, Dr. W.A.R.T. Globe trotting Gecko ends up in Chester - after stowing away in Sri Lanka

Feb 23 (ST) Plans are afoot for a computerised system for Medical Certificates (MC) for drivers, said National Transport Medical Institute (NTMI) Chairman W.S. Perera.
