Batticaloa private campus project put on hold |
Jun 8 (ST) A project to construct a private campus in a 20-acre Batticaloa land provided by the state to the Ameer Ali Foundation has been put on hold on a directive of District Secretary M. Udayakumar. He said the project had been put on hold following complaints that the land had been allocated for the campus despite the area’s people not having land for resettlement.
