1,486 persons test positive for COVID-19 over the weekend

Dec 6 (FT) Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 case count rose to 567,682 with the detection of 1,486 COVID-19 positive persons over the weekend. Yesterday, 746 persons tested positive for COVID-19. Of the patients, 742 were from the New Year cluster and four were overseas arrivals. 7,975 PCR tests were conducted yesterday.
