‘Only 75 Tamil youth were to be evicted’

Estate hospitals to be taken over

4 civilians found killed in eastern Sri Lanka, military says

June 30 (AP) Four civilians were found fatally shot in eastern Sri Lanka, the military said Saturday, while the navy found 1,000 kilograms (2,200 pounds) of explosives in a truck believed being prepared for an attack by Tamil Tiger rebels. June 30 (AFP) Suspected rebels in Sri Lanka shot dead seven civilians and security forces discovered a truck packed with powerful explosives, the country's defence ministry said on Saturday.
