Avurudhu heralds record accidents

Apr 16 (BL) Approximately 643 accidents were reported during the Sinhalese and Tamil New Year season. Of this, 84 were recorded from the outstations. Apr 16 (LBO) Sri Lanka would raise fuel prices before the end of the month after running losses of 7.2 billion rupees in 2008, petroleum minister A H M Fowzie said.
