Families appeal for help to free MV Albedo sailors

Aug 6 (IANS) The Coast Guard has released 11 Sri Lankan fishermen who were detained in Indian waters in May along with two fishing boats, it was announced on Monday. 30 MW of Wind Power to be added to power grid

Spoilt garlic stocks seized from Dambulla

Aug 6 (LT) A stock of spoilt garlic has been taken into custody while being sorted at a rice mill on the Kandalama road in Dambulla.
