Aug 5 (LB) Some senior officials of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) could be in ‘hot water’ as Minister Susil Premajayantha is all out to take stern action against any of its officials if they are found guilty in the substandard diesel deal. The minister cancelled the Singapore company – Vitol’s licence last Friday for supplying substandard diesel to CPC as it had resulted in nearly 200 buses, and many train engines that were running on substandard fuel grinding to a halt.
