Pakistani nabbed with 40 packets of heroin

May 4 (CT) The Pakistani national who was recently arrested at the Katunayake Airport after he tried to pass through Customs having swallowed 40 packets of heroin worth Rs 5.1 million is connected to the international narcotics ring, the Police said. The 40 packets of heroin were taken out after the suspect was detained at the Negombo Hospital for two days. Sri Lanka inflation stable in April

May 5 (DN) Inflation, as measured by the change in the Colombo Consumers Price Index (CCPI) (2006/07=100), remained unchanged at 0.1% as recorded in the previous month, on an year-on-year basis, in April 2015.
